Integration is simple plug-and-play. The transmitter and receiver install directly into your existing LAN infrastructure, requiring no manual IP configuration. For easier installation, the system is PoE powered, eliminating the need for external power supplies when using a PoE network switch. Extending Functionality and Reach The MediaCento IPX 4K extends signals up to 328 feet (100 m) point-to-point but can go significantly further using a network switch, transmitting over either CATx or single-mode fiber cable. It supports USB extension for KVM management of a remote workstation, making it ideal for basic KVM and touchscreen digital signage applications. For control, the system includes RS-232 support for configuration and extending bidirectional control signals, such as turning screens on and off.
