To deliver effective noise reduction across all frequencies, the IMPACT 500 uses hybrid active noise cancellation - combining microphones inside and outside the earcups for optimal performance.

The hybrid active noise cancellation in IMPACT 500 is carefully optimized to block out just the right amount of background noise to help you concentrate on what matters.

What is hybrid ANC?

Hybrid ANC combines feed-forward ANC, an external noise-sensing microphone which detects ambient sounds before they reach your ears, withfeedback ANC, an internal noise sensing microphone which monitors sounds from the speaker.
