Easy connectivity and security for your wireless network
Dell™ SonicWALL™ Clean Wireless™ offers an integrated solution that combines high-performance 802.11n technology with enterprise-class network security appliances to deliver comprehensive network security and performance while dramatically simplifying set-up and management of any 802.11-based wireless network. SonicPoint-N Series wireless access points used in conjunction with the Dell SonicWALL family of firewall security ensures that wireless traffic is scrutinized with the same intensity as wired network traffic, allowing IT administrators to retain control over their entire network.
- Exceptional performance
- Enforced access
- Centralized management
- Power over Ethernet Injector
Enhanced wireless reliabilityMultiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology utilizes six external, removable antennas to enhance throughput and reliability. With dual radio functionality, one channel can be dedicated to compliance testing and the other to user support.
Flexible deployment optionsSonicPoint-Ne Dual-Band can receive power from Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) cabling through an 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injector where electrical outlets are not readily accessible. It can also be powered directly through an AC adapter. Options include either wall or ceiling mounting.
Discreet deploymentWith dimmable LEDs (excluding power) and plastic covers that can obscure both the logo and LEDs, SonicPoint-Ne Dual-Band fits perfectly into environments that need discreet wireless coverage.
Exceptional wireless performanceFeatures include 40 MHz channels and packet aggregation to support data rates of up to 600 Mbps on either 2.4 GHz or 5.0 GHz networks.
- Comprehensive wireless security
- Centralized WLAN management
- Virtual Access Point (VAP) segmentation
- Broad support for standards and protocols
- Granular secular policy enforcement
The demands on organizations' wireless networks - such as increased connection counts, bandwidth consumption, need for seamless roaming and extended perimeters - are all taxing on performance, and complicate the management of existing 802.11 wireless network infrastructures. The challenge facing many businesses is how to preserve compatibility with legacy 802.11 technologies, while enhancing and optimizing their wireless networks through centralized management and control across all nodes of the WLAN, and at the same time, maintaining maximum security.
